Every property in the village is provided with the following:
- grey wheelie bin for household waste that cannot be recycled or home composted
- brown wheelie bin for garden waste
- brown caddy for food waste
- blue recycling box for bottles, tins and cans
- red recycling box for paper, cardboard, newspapers/magazines and telephone directories.
Grey and brown bins are collected on alternate weeks on Tuesday mornings. The red and blue boxes and brown food caddy are collected every Tuesday. Textiles are collected bi-monthly via a District Council partnership to support the Local Air Ambulance. Collection bags indicating the next collection date are delivered to each property. Contact: DB collections, 01536 480007. Alternatively you can request a textile collection by contacting the District Council and they will arrange collection within four working days: phone or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The nearest household waste recycling centres are at Browns Road in Daventry (telephone: 01327 877539) and Scaldwell Road in Brixworth.
